Mahsa mohammadi is a visual artist, translator and writer. Mahsa was born in 1991 in Tehran. She studied mathematics and physics in high school but continued her education in the field of painting at the University of Tehran which is how her artistic career began. By now, She has held three solo exhibitions and has participated in more than 10 group exhibitions. Death, sorrow, absence and the dialectic of ruin and birth have been her main themes in the first years of her career. Mahsa is primarily focused on the medium of painting, although like many other visual artists who consider the poetry in art to be their most major concern, she has enthusiastically experimented with other media, such as sculpture. If the source of inspiration for this artist is her sentiments, she tries to expand this realm through a free and experimental approach to art.
Mahsa has been focusing on abstract painting and researching in this area for almost a year now.
