مهدی راحمی نقاش و چاپ‌گر، متولد ۱۳۵۸ در شهر کاشان است. مهدی راحمی تا به امروز ۷ نمایشگاه انفرادی برگزار کرده و در بیش از شصت نمایشگاه گروهی حضور داشته است. دو کتاب از آثار طراحی فیگوراتیو و چاپ‌های دستی او در سال‌های ۸۴ و ۸۶ به چاپ رسیده است. راحمی علاوه بر طراحی و نقاشی‌های خود، به عنوان معلم نیز سال‌ها در دانشگاه‌ها و آتلیه شخصی خود به آموزش هنر پرداخته و یکی از تاثیرگذارترین افراد در این زمینه به ویژه در شهر کاشان بوده است. همچنین او عضو پیوسته انجمن نقاشان ایران است.

Mehdi Rahemi's swamp is a display of the current situation; A situation from which everyone forms their mental perspective. But each narrative manifests the existing critical state. By combining what he has learned previously with what is disemboguing inside him, the artist has tried to achieve an original and first-hand narrative of such crisis, both in theme and expression; beginning from dramatic scenes in which human figures are immersed to situations resulted by the collapse of the shattered bodies that have formed the physical aspect of the swamp itself, they all show different examples of the persistent, stagnant and ineluctable state of the swamp. The depicted bodies have lost their unity, turning into a pile of stains. The brush strokes too, sometimes sit together to form limbs and bodies, and sometimes only exist monstrously to just swallow other bodies and limbs. The futureless situation of this swamp is the self-made situation of us human beings as if each of us is the person of interest and a partner in constructing this Inevitable mire. Fo'ad Najmedin
